EMLEI
About Me
Wander like a Writer
In German, Emma means “whole” or “universal;” in Latin, “industrious;” and, in Hebrew, “all containing.” I live up to my name and admire the etymology in craft.

My Story
Each piece in my portfolio is guided by historically and socially diverse etymology; a result from wandering and filtering through my various identities and interests. Every narrative decision is a testament to the intellectual precision behind my storytelling.
As a story teller, I collaborate with knowledge and creativity to produce engaging reflections of art. All I ask of the viewer is to enjoy the piece for there is no one correct meaning in their existence; like us, they are meant to exist. Nothing more, nothing less.
Emma Harding (she/her) hails from Armada, MI as a Georgia College & State University MFA candidate working as the Assistant Managing Editor for the fresh and forthcoming literary journal, Peach. After graduation, Emma plans to work in the book publishing industry as a desktop publisher. In the mean time, she enjoys reading graphic novels with her black cat, Berry.
